Day 2 Today you’ll get an in-depth look at the beautiful Amish countryside. The Amish lifestyle is quite different from that of other Americans. Rejecting the use of just about all modern conveniences . . . telephone, electricity, and automobiles. The Amish use immaculate black buggies and beautiful teams of horses to pull the plows and harrows in the fields. Today a local guide will give us a back roads tour of the area. Some of the many highlights will include a guided tour of Yoder’s Amish Farm and Behalt, a cyclorama illustrating the heritage of the Amish and Mennonite people from 1525 to today. We will visit the workshop of the world’s master carver, Ernest Warther and an amazing display of hand-carved wonders. Coblintz Chocolate Co. and Heini’s Cheesehouse are also included as we tour the area. Another delicious dinner is included in tour this evening. B, D
