| Day 1 | The world of Virginia is a blend of both the past and present. Today you travel through the hills of West Virginia and come to rest in Richmond for our overnight stay. |
| Day 2 | We will depart after breakfast for a guided tour of Richmond, the state capital. Then we travel to the Hampton Roads region of Virginia and beautiful Virginia Beach. During your stay in Virginia Beach, you can stroll the charming boardwalk, visit the fishing pier or shop for souvenirs on the “strip”. We’ll include a trip to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. It showcases the mighty surge of the Atlantic Ocean, the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay, and the soaring grace of an engineering marvel. Both a tourist attraction and a travel convenience, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel connects Virginia's Eastern Shore with the Virginia mainland at Virginia Beach near Norfolk. After checking in this afternoon we will enjoy free time to explore, then gather for dinner together in one of Virginia Beach’s great eateries. B, D |
| Day 3 | After an included breakfast, enjoy your morning in Virginia Beach. Sightseeing will include: a visit to Hampton Roads Naval Museum and a tour of the U.S.S. Wisconsin, one of the nation’s great fighting ladies, and an included lunch on the Spirit of Norfolk. Return to Virginia Beach this evening. B, L |
| Day 4 | Our breakfast begins the day as we anticipate a historic visit to Colonial Williamsburg. Here you will walk on the streets where Washington, Jefferson, and many other great Americans strolled. We’ll return to our beach hotel later this afternoon, relax and refresh before our included dinner and entertainment tonight. B, D |
| Day 5 | After breakfast, we depart for the beautiful Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia. We’ll arrive this afternoon at Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson and one of the finest estates in the United States. After our tour, we will check in to our hotel and enjoy an included dinner together this evening. B, D |
